The body and neck are Korina (black limba) and the fingerboard is Cocobolo. Korina is regarded as one of the best tonewoods available.
SPECS:
Body wood - korina. The body contours from about 1-3/4" in the center to about 1-1/4" at the edges. Lightweight at 7lbs 9 oz.
Neck wood - korina back with cocobolo fretboard, 22 fret, 16 radius, 1-3/4 tusq nut, 2-3/16 at heel. Grover tuners with black keys.
Medium V back profile. It measures .770 at the first fret and .800 at fret 12.
The back profile on this neck starts with an approximate medium V and gradually changes to all C at the 12th fret.
Scale length - 25.5 (standard fender scale) This is not a Gibson scale.
Pickups - Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates humbuckers neck and bridge in chrome covers.
Two volume, two tone, 3 way switch. Wired the modern way where the volumes are independant of each other.
